A look at our AWANA program: Awana is a non-denominational ministry that assists churches in reaching children and teenagers with the gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him. Monument View Bible Church has been a part of this program for the past seven years. This program was started at MVBC for the purpose of reaching girls and boys, within the church as well as the community. David Ward, as the Commander, along with many willing and excited leaders from our church and community, meet every Tuesday night from October through April with a goal of leading children to Christ and helping them further their walk with the Lord. On any Tuesday night you will find an average of 60-70 children between kindergarten and eighth grade. Every night has its own theme: anything from Pie Night to Missionary Night or Fruit Night to Faith Factor Stunt Night. Please keep this ministry in your prayers, and pray that God will work in the hearts of the children as well as the adults involved. No matter what the age, we are all still in the process of learning and growing in Christ Jesus.
