THE PASTORAL TEAM...God has blessed us with a great team of Pastors and Elders. Each of these men truly loves the Lord and cares about your spiritual development. They desire to see you grow in your walk with Christ and are here to help you: Youth Pastor David Ward cares for our teens, Associate Pastor Neal Froese ministers to our Seniors, Associate Pastor Keith Sheppard oversees worship and children's education, and Dr. Mark Henry oversees Sunday's teaching.
THE YOUTH PASTOR...Pastor David Ward has served at MVBC as the Awana commander for four years. He graduated from Mesa State. He and his wife, Amy have two sons. Click here to view our youth group page.
THE ASSOCIATE PASTOR...Pastor Keith Sheppard began his ministry here at MVBC in August of 2005. He has served in ministry in various capacities, including youth pastor, interim pastor, and worship leader. Keith and his wife, Shannon have been married for four years and have two sons. Keith ministers as the worship leader and associate pastor.
THE SENIOR PASTOR...Dr. Mark Henry started preaching at sixteen and has since served the Lord as a church planter, Senior Pastor and Christian educator. Additionally, he has served on the boards of numerous Christian organizations, both locally and nationally. Mark brings to this community a ministry of dedication to the Word of God and genuine concern for the spiritual condition of people. Mark and his wife, Jera have been married for over 20 years and have three teenage children. THE ASSOCIATE PASTOR TO THE SENIORS...Pastor Neal Froese accepted God's call to ministry as a layperson, joining the staff of First Baptist Church of Montclair, California, in 1981. He served in an associate ministry role there for twenty-four years. He was also a volunteer chaplain for the Montclair Police Department from 1997 through 2005. Neal and his wife, June, recently established their home in Fruita. They have two daughters and one son. Click here to view our seniors' page.
